Extended Cat Boarding with Space to Explore

Cats staying away from home for an extended period may benefit from more than a comfortable boarding space. When appropriate, longer-stay cat guests at Ruby’s Pet Resort are given opportunities to leave their regular boarding area and spend time in our indoor playroom.

The room includes a cat tree, cat toys, and space to explore, stretch, play, or relax. Because every cat has a different personality, activity time can be adjusted according to the cat’s comfort level and behavior.

Our team also follows the feeding and care instructions provided by each pet parent. House food may be available when arranged in advance, and we can administer many common non-injectable medications after reviewing the instructions. Please contact us before booking to confirm whether we can accommodate your cat’s medication or special-care needs.

What to Bring for Boarding

To help your cat feel right at home, please pack the following:

  • Food: To prevent tummy issues, pack their usual food in labeled servings.
  • Vaccination Records: Cats must be up to date on Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia, and current on flea/tick prevention.
  • Bedding: Bring their favorite bed, blanket, or an item that smells like home.
  • Toys: If your cat has a favorite toy or comfort item, feel free to include it.
  • Medications: Let us know about any medications and provide instructions—we’ll administer them at no extra cost.
  • Carrier & Collar: All cats must arrive in a secure carrier and wear a collar or breakaway tag.

Cat Daycare

A Safe, Quiet Space for Cats to Spend the Day

Just need a few hours of care? Our cat daycare provides a relaxed, feline-friendly environment where your cat can lounge, play, or nap the day away. We keep cat guests separate from dogs and provide individual attention, soft spaces, and stress-free surroundings.

Daycare is ideal for:

  • Social cats that need a little entertainment while you're out
  • Busy pet parents who need a safe place for their cats during the day
  • Kittens or indoor cats who benefit from a little variety and stimulation
